Get your first diving certification in the calm, crystal-clear waters of Schinias. On completion you are certified by SSI, one of the largest and most recognised diving organisations in the world, which lets you dive anywhere on the planet, rent equipment and continue your training to more advanced levels.

The SSI Open Water Diver course is the full programme that lets you dive independently to a depth of 18 metres. No previous experience is needed.

The programme includes theory (5 chapters, with books or e-learning, and personal support from your instructor), confined-water dives to get familiar with the equipment and build skills, and open-water dives at unique sites in the southern Evoikos Gulf. Small groups of up to 4 people, DAN dive insurance and a schedule that adapts to your needs and time.

Good to know

• Minimum age 10. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• A health questionnaire must be completed before diving. If you have a pre-existing condition such as asthma or heart issues, consult your doctor first. Avoid diving within 12 hours of flying.
• Bring your own towel and swimwear.
