Just 45 minutes from the centre of Athens, the southern Evoikos Gulf offers a premier diving landscape. The dives are centred around Marathon Cape, a rugged peninsula known for its deep blue waters and diverse underwater topography: vertical rock formations, vibrant reefs, boulders, walls and slopes rich in Mediterranean marine life, with relics of ancient maritime history.

One guided shore dive at Marathon Cape. Guided by a certified scuba instructor, in small groups of up to 5 participants. Dive profiles range from shallow, easy-going reefs with high visibility to deeper, more challenging slopes for experienced divers, and the structure of the cape gives immediate access to depth from the start of the dive.

Good to know

• Evidence of dive certification is mandatory. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• A health questionnaire must be completed before diving. If you have a pre-existing condition such as asthma or heart issues, consult your doctor first. Avoid diving within 12 hours of flying.
• Bring your own towel and swimwear.
