The Arachthos is one of the most beautiful rafting rivers in Greece. Its first route is exciting thanks to its lively water, yet easy enough for beginners. It starts at Politsa bridge in Tzoumerka and runs for about 10 km.

On the way you stop for a swim at the Klifki waterfall, paddle through the Arachthos canyon with its springs and waterfalls, and finish at Plaka, the largest single-arched stone bridge in Greece.

Every day, all year round, at 10:30. Duration about 2 hours, 10 km, difficulty Class 3. Children from 8 years old with a guardian. Runs with a minimum of 4 people, up to 50.

Smaller groups are welcome too: send a request even for 2 people and Active Nature will add you to an existing group.

Meeting point
Plaka Bridge, Active Nature base (changing rooms), Tzoumerka. Meeting in Ioannina is also possible.
