Honey tasting and a creative workshop in one visit. You start with an introduction to the products of the hive and the role of bees, learn how honey is produced and how its main types are recognised, and practise tasting with top samples of pure Greek honey.
Then, in the workshop, you make a natural cosmetic with your own hands – beeswax ointment, hand cream or lip balm – with fresh ingredients from the hive, or a traditional product such as pasteli (sesame and honey bar) or rakomelo (honey raki). Whatever you make, you take home with you as a gift.
Duration: about 2.5 hours (90 minutes tasting + 45-60 minutes workshop). Suitable for all ages.
