Grizo & Prasino is the organic herb farm of Kostas and Angeliki in Asomatos, a short drive from Komotini in Thrace. Since 2012 they grow, hand-pick and dry aromatic herbs and turn them into herbal teas, iced teas and botanical syrups.
The visit starts with a welcome bottle of herbal iced tea. Then you walk through the herb fields with your hosts and see how mint, sage, lemon verbena, chamomile and other herbs are grown and harvested.
You then sit down for a sensory tasting of iced teas and single-origin infusions, with guidance on how to brew each herb at home. At the end you take home a jar of the farm’s signature herb salt.
