Experience the magic of the underwater world in Nea Makri, just outside Athens. The Discover Scuba Diving programme is a safe and unforgettable introduction to scuba diving, guided by experienced instructors, in small groups of up to 4 people. No previous experience is needed.

You start with a lesson at the dive centre on the basics of scuba gear, breathing techniques and essential safety measures, then practise in calm, shallow water. When you are ready, you enjoy a 30 to 40 minute dive, descending to 5 or 6 metres to explore the seabed.

Good to know

• Minimum age 8. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Basic swimming ability is required.
• A health questionnaire must be completed before diving. If you have a pre-existing condition such as asthma or heart issues, consult your doctor first. Avoid diving within 12 hours of flying.
• Bring your own towel and swimwear.
