Lefkada Micro Farm is in Xylokeratia, just outside Nidri on the island of Lefkada. It is a small family farm with organic vegetable gardens and an olive grove of the rare Aspri Lefkadas variety, farmed with regenerative practices. Its extra virgin olive oil has won a Silver Award in New York (2025 and 2026).
This experience is an olive oil masterclass. We walk through the olive grove, meet the centuries-old trees and the farm’s regenerative organic practices, and then taste the award-winning oil. You will learn to tell authentic extra virgin olive oil from the supermarket kind, what polyphenols are and why good oil has a peppery kick in the throat, as well as the olive oil alphabet: how to buy it, how to store it and how to cook healthily with it.
