The complete From A to Bee experience: honey tasting and a visit to a living hive. In the first part you get to know the products of the hive, learn how bees produce honey and how we tell its main types apart, and taste top samples of pure Greek honey in pairings.
In the second part you put on a beekeeping suit, light the smoker and enter the apiary: what we look for inside a hive, how we find the queen, how a populous colony is inspected.
No previous experience is needed. Wear long trousers and closed shoes.
Duration: about 2.5 hours. Suitable for families.
Where: at the From A to Bee apiary in Pallini (Elpidos Pouli 2), easy to reach by metro, bus or taxi from the centre of Athens.
