The Venetikos is the longest tributary of the Aliakmonas and for most of the year its water has a beautiful teal colour. The river is known for its arched stone bridges from the 16th and 17th century.
The route starts at the bridge between Trikomo and Monachiti and ends at the five-arched Spanos bridge. On the way you pass the two-arched Kagelia bridge, the three-arched Aziz Aga bridge and the four-arched Stavropotamos bridge. An easy but impressive route, with lively water and rich wildlife.
